  1. To install QuickTime 4.02, do not double-click on the Installer.

  3. Instead, drag and drop the QuickTime Install Cache file on to the QuickTime Installer and follow the on-screen instructions.

  5. The installer may need to make an Internet connection to Apple's website. If so, quit the installer, launch your Internet connection, drag & drop the QuickTime Install Cache on to the QuickTime Installer again and continue.
